Prisoners are in a very tight space mentally and somewhat physically which would deem them unfit in many ways to donate under their own judgment. It’s hard enough for them to be all alone and sit with themselves and think about their death and or previous actions its unfit to present such an idea and expect them not to jump at it with the simple fact they want to be around others again to get attention in any way they can which they would due to the procedure that would take place. Even with restrictions around the donation process the inmates might believe that they get some sort of special pass different to those who wouldn’t donate in prison. High percentages of incrassated individuals are not mentally stable enough to makes such decisions especially around the conditions and circumstances. They are more susceptible to being persuaded by their condition. It will be difficult to determine whether prisoners are donating for the right reasons. This could be done out of guilt and to change how they are viewed by the public, the act should be don’t by people who are fully aware of the decision with no intent behind it but to save other’s lives. Convicted prisoners don’t have the mental stability or the incorruptibility of the act. Organ Donation From Condemned Prisoners

The position of feeling uncomfortable that the medical personals might feel through the of surgery would be intense due to the fact that there must be different protocols with the inmate. The way a free individual would be free to come on their own is different from being brought by special enforcement to do a good deed but you yourself aren’t a good person must be terrifying not knowing what they are in for takes the focus away from the procedure and more on the inmate personally.

In conclusion, there shouldn’t be an option even to inmates for such serious decision because if they cared so much about others they wouldn’t break the law to the extent of being put to death. Letting death row prisoners donate organs should be on constitutional due to their status the encouragement should be set on those who sign up as donors at the DMV there should be follow ups for those who want to donate.
