Publication of the ‘Quality Data’ Essay
The publication of the ‘quality data’ may be an important factor that influences clients’ choices and contributes to the formation of certain public images of health care organizations. However, the publication of the ‘quality data’ without scientific research raises a number of issues.Publication of the ‘Quality Data’ Essay First, the ‘quality data’ may be not accurate because the quality may be assessed subjectively on the ground of criteria which do not shape the objective, scientifically reliable quality data. Second, there is a risk of manipulating with data depending on the investments of health care organizations in their public relations and formation of their public image and ‘quality data’ (Nieswiadomy, 2012). As a result, customers with specific health issues may count on the high quality of services in a particular health care organization, which may be, in actuality, absolutely unprepared for the treatment of such clients because they focus on key issues that contribute to the formation of the ‘quality data’ but are not relevant to needs of specific client groups (Fuchs & Emanuel,2005). In addition, the publication of the ‘quality data’ will encourage health care organizations to invest in the promotion of their brand and quality data rather than provision of health care services, investment in innovations and other essential investments that contribute to the high quality of health care services, which they provide for their clients.Publication of the ‘Quality Data’ Essay
As a result, the introduction of the publication of the ‘quality data’ without scientific research may have a dubious effect on health care organizations and their services. On the one hand, they may be rated according to the ‘quality data’, but, on the other hand, these ‘quality data’ may fail to mirror the real quality of health care services of those organizations.
