Retails clinics are medical facilities that allow patients to receive care outside the restrictive schedule of the primary care facilities and away from emergency facilities. In this case, a retail clinical is a facility located within a retail environment where it handles smaller health needs that can be handled at the convenience of the patient. It employs certified providers who can treat minor, uncomplicated injuries and illnesses, such as scrapes, bumps, rashes, colds and fevers.
