Brain Development
Childhood years are usually the most critical ones in a person’s life. It has been researched that brain development is highly affected by multiple factors, which play a crucial role in every child’s life. “The development of the brain is influenced by many factors, including a child’s relationships, experiences, and environment.” (Zero to Three, n.d.) Usually, children get to naturally experience all of the needed situations, in order for their brain to develop normally. However, sometimes, children have some individual characteristics, which get in the way of the children’s brain healthy development.Brain Development Research Essay
Growing up, I was a relatively weak child, as I had problems with my breathing. This issue did not bother me on a daily basis, yet it appeared, when I had to run quickly, or experience hard physical exercises. In the context of the individual characteristics, which prevented me from using socialization for the brain development, I could not play any games at school, which involved running, jumping around, or generally, being too active. In such situations, I felt highly excluded. Unfortunately, many children feel such way due to their characteristics. Ramakrishnan (2018) states that it is essential to provide the environment for developing, “where a student feels like he/she is a part of the process and is living it.” For example, in my case, the teacher might have suggested that I be the judge in how the characteristics would not disable everyone score in a particular game, this way, I, yet be involved in the game. Generally, the strategies for brain development involve talking, emotions, visuals, chunking, movement, connections, brain breaks, and many others. Therefore, various physical impairment does not mean that one will not be able to have a fully developed brain. Introducing a child to a social environment, where he or she feels involved is enough to stimulate healthy brain development.
