They offer a framework that helps leaders to manage the QI initiative in the best way possible. Transformational leadership practices are important in the QI initiative, but for the leadership practices to be effective, the methodology applied in the QI initiative must be mapped correctly to the goals, organization, and team type. It must be noted that no two QI initiatives/projects can be exactly the same. Even if they pursue the same goals, outcomes may not be necessarily replicated. If the different teams, performance indicators and goals are factored in, then it will make sense that no one project management approach for managing all QI initiatives/projects. No one-size-fits all approach. If the wrong project management approach is applied, then it would hinder, rather than help, the workflows thereby negatively affective the results and performance.
