Scenario to follow –
67-year-old African American male patient presents with smoking and COPD. For this assignment, you can make up the Review of systems but the review of systems that smoking and COPD can affect incorporate these problems in that particular review of the system.

REVIEW OF SYSTEMS – Correlate with Smoking and COPD. Lab tests (chronic hypoxemia, anemia, lung inflammation, etc. ). Lung (pulmonary) function tests. Neurology = mild cognitive impairment (attention and memory difficulties) and low motor abilities.
Developmental Considerations – This can be made up… how the patient grew up, their individualized upbringing.
Psychosocial considerations – patient suffers from poor stress management, anxiety, and depression – elaborate. Lack of social comportment. Poor quality of life. Impaired in his ability to perform activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, dressing, toileting, transfer, continence, and feeding) which are related to their pulmonary function, cough, wheezing, and dyspnea
Presence or absence of collaborative resources patients community, family, groups, church. This can be made up to correlate with a 67-year-old African American male.
