NUR 643 Health Assessment Topic Reflection 1

I gained a substantial amount of understanding after studying the topic, which is relevant to the assessment. I faced a variety of problems as I assessed a client with a skin condition. The client who was a 28-year-old woman worried about some of the pimples that had been on her body over the last week. They produced certain liquid, and when she got in contact with water, they became itchy.

The possible issues during this assessment include not being able to diagnose the skin condition. I could not analyze clinical manifestation, which made it nearly impossible to distinguish acne from pockmarked because both problems are defined by pimples. The same health characteristics occur in both circumstances. In addition, they both prevail among female adults and not among males and children of the same age. Acne is a common inflammatory skin disorder defined by pimples (Fox et al., 2016). Conversely, Pockmarked is an adult skin disorder associated with rough skin and pimples (Balakrishnan et al., 2015).NUR 643 Health Assessment Topic Reflection 1

The approaches used to resolve these challenges included differential diagnosis and evaluation of other clinical manifestations. An assessment of other symptoms showed that acne was a possible condition instead of pockmarked. Furthermore, differential diagnosis found that the patient had acne. A Christian perspective, as well as compassion towards others, plays a vital role in this evaluation by providing patients with the emotional support and resilience necessary to transcend their problems. For the client’s process of recovery, moral support from family and friends is essential.
